Today is a sad day. I am leaving the Philippines. It has been an amazing visit and I will never forget it. I thank Juvylyn and her husband for keeping me here. But as I am walking out the door, I remember. "Wait!" I shout. I run back into the house back to where I was sleeping on the floor. I search and search. Where is it! Then I finally find it. The bead was in the very corner. I pick it up and put it safe;y into my pocket. There. Then I walk out. Juvylyn and her husband take me to the airport. Right as I am about to board the plane, I give them hugs. "Thank you." Then I get on the plane and wave goodbye tot he Philippines.

Visit with Juvylyn Day 5
The next morning, I wake up and there is no one in the house. There is a bowl of fresh mango on the table which I assume is for me, so I eat it. Then I poke my head outside the door. I see Juvylyn and her husband down by the lake. They wave me down. I run barefoot sown the hill in the misty morning. The air is cold but I don't care. When I get down there, Juvylyn and her husband are pushing the newly finished fishing boat into the still and silent lake. "Hop in!" she says. I run through the icy water and get in the boat. Juvylyn gets in too. Her husband pushes us off and then climbs in. We row way out into the middle of the lake. It is so special. Her and her husband thank me for helping them raise enough money to fix their boat. Then we start to fish.
Visiting Juvylyn Day 4
The next morning, I got up at around 8:00, which was late for Juvylyn. "Today," she said, "I will take you to the market. We need more food and also, we need to wait for the glue to dry on the boat." I nodded. We walked down a small dirt trail for about a half mile, then we got onto the worn dirt road. We walked for another mile until there started to be more huts. I was really tired, but Juvylyn said that she walked there at least twice a week. There were some fruit stands with really juicy looking mangos and fruits. We stopped and got two mangos. Then at the next stand, there were a bunch of fish. Juvylyn stopped and talked to the fisherman. I guess he was an old friend of hers and they used to go fishing together. As we walked along, I noticed a little stand selling beads. I stopped to look. They were all really pretty. I especially liked one that was crystal blue with black dots on it. "Take it." the lady at the stand said. She smiled at me. It's yours." I smiled and said thank you in her native language. Then I left to go and tell Juvylyn what had happened.

Visiting Juvylyn Day 1
On the first morning of my visit with Juvylyn and her husband, I woke up to the smell of what she called oatmeal, and what I called cooked grain. I got up off my matt on the floor and sat at the table. The sun was just coming up and it was shining and glistening on the lake. "We have a big day ahead of us!" Juvylyn smiled proudly. "Thanks to the help you gave us, we can start rebuilding my fishing boat!" We walked down to the lake, and I saw her fishing boat. It was tied to the dock, but it was very damaged. All the wood was coming off on the sides, and one more day and it would have come off the bottom too! We set to work. I helped her haul the new wood over to the boat. She brought it on shore and then she started placing new bamboo sticks on the boat. It was hard work. At the end of the day, we went back to her tiny home on the edge of the lake as the sun went down. I had never been so happy to see "oatmeal".

Dancing around the World
I danced with the fire men in Texas. It was fun because the fire men rarely get to have fun because they are always off saving people from fires and training really hard. So it was fun to see them dancing!
The people in South Africa taught me how to dance their dance. It is really fun and you have to jump around a lot.
The french people are very nice. Iv'e always wanted to learn how to do a back handspring and they taught me! It was really fun dancing and doing gymnastics in France!
In Australia, I went to visit my friend Grace who just moved there. She took me scuba diving and they took a picture of us dancing underwater. I think it was one of the funnest places i've been to.
This is my second time in Greece. The first time I went to an island. This time I went to Athens. It was a really hot day when we did this dance, so afterwards, we went to swim in the Mediterranean Sea.
As we were flying to Afghanistan we stopped at an airport, and as we were about to get on the plane, all the flight attendants started dancing! I joined in of course.
In Afghanistan, the kids wanted to put a show on for us. They taught me how to juggle four balls instead of just three. And then, someone started singing and we all started juggling and dancing! It's sad because tomorrow I have to go back home. It was a really fun trip! Dancing around the world!
